This is a 1956 willys jeep in need of some tlc. My dad owned this jeep for almost thirty years. Now I took on the restoring of this fine willys jeep. As you will see that this 56 is the body is rough all over. But the engine and transmission run good and frame is solid.
This site is dedicated in showing you my journey in restoring of great American icon. This 56 willys will be my first jeep that I have restored. My job is a auto body tech for a local body shop. I have 10+ in refinishing and repairing rusted, dented and wrecked autos. Also have two years in a freightliner dealership in the body shop department. Hopefully I have enough experience to handle this big project. Restoring this jeep might take two or three years to complete. Keep checking back for new pic and some new progress. With any major restore it all comes to the budget and time. Ok time to get started.
